In English, we had to make a blogpost for ‘being bad can be extremely inconvenient. ‘ Knowing that plastic can be bad for invironment, I think I’ll still use plastics because no computer, pens, phones and all the stuff, it’s going to be hard living! Maybe I would also use cars even I know that the company owners are bad, if I already bought the car.
If my English teacher were magitian and change me to one of the character in the book, I would choose Justin, because he is inteligent, and could go to the meeting, but don’t have to lead the meeting like Nicodemus. He is also strong, and smart. Also, he doesn’t have a scar on his face, and could see well.
When I saw the movie after I read the book, I thought a lot of things are different. For example, I thought Jeremy was more a funny, kind of paniking crow, and also, when Mrs.Frisby helped Jeremy, It didn’t go on the water, and they flew away before the Dragon caught them.(In the book) When Mr.Fitzgibbon started the plough, he didn’t start right away in the book so Mrs.Frisby and the shrew didn’t had to stop them. But in the movie, they had to stop the tractor. One more thing is that the shrew, is their aunt.
I think of the book ‘Mrs.Frisby and the Rats of NIMH’ is that it is intresting, because I can see how mice and other animals are serviving from their eye view. Also, I can think about stuff like adversity, friendship, Heroism, Loyality and trust. I like it also because I want to keep on reading and want to know what’s going to happen next!
In the book, Mrs.Frisby does suffer from adverstiy that she must overcome. An example in a film/book that I saw/read, is in a movie and a book called “James and the Giant peach”, James lost his parents, he get send to his horrible aunts, who makes him work all the time, and don’t give barely any food. When a magical man appears to him, he spill the magic worm that the man gave him, by falling in the ground. When he finds a entrance to the giant peach, he has to find a way to go to the New York. A time I had to overcome misfortune was when I broke my right leg, and could’t walk and had to stay home, lying on the sofa.
In English, we’re reading a novel ‘Mrs.Frisby and the Rats of NIMH’. For homework, we had to write the predicament Mrs.Frisby was in. Mrs.Frisby’s son was in the terrible ill, and plus she and her family had to move their house, because Mr.Fitzgibbons will plough their house. When she move, she has to care about cat Dragon, birds that are around, snakes, and rats. I think that was her predicament that Mrs.Frisby was in.
In English, we’ve been learning about Anne Frank’s diary. My teacher asked me how I would feel if I was like that. If I had to live in the hiding place with my family, or a neibour that I never knew, I would feel horrible. Also nor ro be able to get a fresh air because I can’t open a window, that wouldn’t be very nice. Trapped in a house for 2 years, not to be able to run arobe able to even see my friends. I would also be scared hearing the sound of the bombs every night, and won’t know when I’m going to be captured by Nazi’s. Maybe I would feel that I want to die. It would be hard not to flash the toilet durning the day time, and not to make any noises and has to tip toe, and whisper, or not be able to talk at all. I woulnd’t want to live there for not even a week
It was raining today! I was so suprised. It was raining on the evening. First I just thought it was just a drop but it went harder and harder! I wish it would of rained hole day (or every day!!!)
The Islamic museum visit was pretty good exept when we had to split with our friends on the bus. I liked the art (?) that me, J, S, and J made with the blue book and the hands, and the erasers that J made. The things that were in the musseum… I think it will be better if they had a discription in the lables.
The character in the book Egypt Game had a halloween costume which is the Egyptian costume. That reminded me the story of my halloween this year.
My Halloween costume
This year in Halloween, I dressed up as a witch. I had a long black skirt, black top and cloak with pattern of spider web. It was hard to run with the skirt saying “Trick-or-treat”. I was a witch without a hat. Almost everyone asked “What are you guys dressed up as?” I prepared a witch hat but I left it at home. I went trick-or-treating with my best friend Jericho. She was dressed up as a Goth. We’ve got one bag of bin bag filled with sweets and chips. When we finished trick-or-treating for first compound, we wanted to get on the car. But the car was locked! Her dad was not there. But luckily, the top window was open. Jericho climbed up the car, and I helped getting the sweets up. It was heavy. We wait about 5 minutes without AC! It was so hot that we can’t wait anymore. So we went to the shop and got a drink. Finally, her dad came and went to 2nd compound. After we finished 2nd compound, we couldn’t find a car! Me and Jericho called her dad with cell phone, and her dad came. After we finished the entire compound, it was almost 9 o’ clock! After we got home, it was shame that we had to get the costume off and dressed up as our pajamas. I felt a bit embarrassing when I dressed up as a witch. Because normally, I don’t wear any skirt so I thought about what people will say and stuff. But nobody said anything!
